Architect Laurent de Comarmond’s super mod Cameron Village ranch house will be open for viewing this weekend from 1pm-4 both Saturday and Sunday. The one story home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms along with an oversized study and a second den. At the owners $650,000 asking price, it is really a great value for anyone who loves modern architecture and furniture. Outfitted with European fixtures and industrial grade materials the house is something of an inner beltline mod palace. Just finished in 2007 this is the opportunity for an aspiring urbanite to really celebrate Raleigh’s design culture.

I have had the privilege to see and walk through this home. He has not only designed a very hip pad but it has a great location as well. I love how the home has lot’s of natural light. It does what all good architectural design does - it takes advantage of nature as apposed to fight with it.
