NC Dems Hold Huge Advantage in New Voters

On the Tuesday, October 7th episode of NPR’s All Things Considered, Mara Liasson dropped an incredible statistic. In battleground states nationwide, 4 million new voters have been registered with Democrats holding a 2 to 1 advantage in most of those states. Not the case in NC, where Democrats hold a 6 to 1 advantage in newly registered voters. Skip ahead to the 2:30 mark of this story to hear the comment that must have the NC GOP losing sleep.

You can still register to vote through Friday, October 10th in Wake Co. If you manage to miss that deadline, you can register and vote from October 16th- November 1st at a number of Early Vote locations.

I attended the Springfield Baptist Church non-partisan candidates forum today. I do believe I was well received and had some people in attendance tell me of the views that liberal hold that they did not like. I believe that the Democratic people have taken the voters and citizens for granted and do not listen to us. Our Democrats in NC have failed at schools, roads, probation and crime, mental and physical healthcare, and ballooning state budgets with massive borrowing. It is time for change in NC because the status quo is unacceptable.
