NC State’s Coach Yow Dies

The women’s basketball coach at NC State, Kay Yow died this morning.  Ending her long battle with Cancer. 

Women’s basketball coach Kay Yow passed away Saturday morning after a 22-year long battle with cancer. Yow, 66, spent last week at WakeMed Cary Hospital continuing her fight and was able to visit with family, friends and her basketball team before passing. She even kept up with State basketball through WKNC broadcasts.
