As you can see in these photos, a small piece of the top of the NCSU bell tower was damaged in the funnel cloud fury that hit the downtown Raleigh area last night. It has been roped off today and workers are cleaning up the debris and hopefully fixing the pieces so that falling granite isn’t a concern. The clock was stuck at 7:55 6:55 overnight but looks to be back working.
