Finally, North Carolina is cool enough to get some Fat Tire flowing at its bars, restaurants and shops.
The Flying Saucer is hosting a New Belgium Brewing Company release event showcasing Fat Tire (Amber Ale), 1554 (Black Ale), and Mothership Wit (Organic Wheat) on Monday, March 2. And most other pints on tap are
$2.50
$2.75 (inflation’s a bitch) per usual Monday nights.

oh thank gawd… love my fat tire!
i’ve been waiting for this day since 1997 when i spent a glorious summer drinking fat tire in the tetons. i’m so excited!
New Belgium will also be doing a tasting and promo at 101 Lounge + Cafe on March 12 for the 1st Round of the ACC Tourney.
Most pints are 2.75 at FS on Mondays. The price went up a while back.
Has anyone found Fat Tire outside of a Bar yet? I stopped at 6 stores and couldn’t find it. Peace St. Market had the 1554 but didn’t have Fat tire yet. They said maybe in a few days. Help!
happened to see 22 oz bottles of fat tire and mothership wit while making a stop this afternoon at the kroger on creedmoor at lynn rd. not sure if it’s only at that one or if it’s at all krogers.
hope that helps.
aahhhhhhhhhhh about time. Drank my first fat tire somewhere around 1993.
for all the hype, the flat tire was pretty much like drinking a michelob amberbock or some other crap. very disappointed.
they have bombers at mellow mushroom now, fat tire, 1554, and mothership witte
**Does the Fat Tire dance**
For the record, though, the New Belgium brews are available in bottle form only right now. Draft sales don’t begin until next month.
