New Raleigh has never been afraid to throw a good party. We love helping promote events that we are genuinely excited about. Last year we started talking about throwing a Halloween party for the ages- a huge ball in a big venue with great entertainment, creative decorations and the hope that attendees would take their costume's to their creative potential. This summer, we met with CAM/now, the young professionals group at CAM Raleigh. They were throwing a Halloween party and we decided to partner up. A few months later, CAM/now has worked very hard to produce the biggest Halloween party Raleigh has never seen.
On Saturday October 29th the warehouse district will be lit up with performance artists and video projections. An outdoor dance party in CAM courtyard will be surrounded by live graffiti artists, fire and ariel performances, dancers, and horror films. The night will also feature a Raleigh celebrity judged costume contest with judges: Aly & Beth Kahlifa of DesignBox, Comedian Trent Bowles and the very talented Toola . You can get your costumes shot by professional photographers, and drinks from Foundation.
CAM thrives on community support. This volunteer organized event is made possible by generous donations from Raleigh artists and small businesses who want to help CAM. Your ticket purchase goes to help CAM grow and enhance our city's cultural fabric.
CAM/now is the young professional group organizing the event. Throughout the year they program events and work to support the museum. By joining CAM and CAM/now you can participate in planning these events and you get a discounted entry into the halloween party and special access to the opening VIP party.
Tickets are selling fast, and we want to make sure you are there to celebrate Halloween with us. Checkout the Fright at the Museum page on CAM's website.
