Join New Raleigh and Triangle Modernist Houses for a “Thirst4Architecture” Happy Hour on Friday June 24th from 6-8pm at the North Carolina Museum of Art, featuring short films and local speakers, as well as a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres.

We’re excited to feature special guest Mitch Magee, a New York-based writer and producer of the “Mister Glasses” short film series, which centers around “an immensely talented Phillip Johnson-esque architect who has to defend Modernist design to people who just don’t get it”.

The Happy Hour will also feature local architect Jody Brown, author of the humor blog “Coffee with an Architect”, which takes “a humorous look at the architecture profession, especially how seriously it takes itself, while helping to educate the public about what architects do”.

“Thirst4Architecture” is completely free and open to the public, so come out, have a drink, and network with architects, artists, designers, and overall awesome creative people.
