No Doubt Coming to Raleigh

The last time I saw No Doubt was in 1996 at the Charlotte Hornets training facility in Charlotte. They opened for Bush and The Goo Goo Dolls and had yet to release Tragic Kingdom. “Just a Girl” was barely just a video on MTV and Gwen and Gavin weren’t yet a couple. They rocked both bands off of the stage, but a lot has changed for Gwen and crew since then, including her bling-sponsored solo career and a couple of babies.

The band is reuniting for a handful of concerts in 2009, 7 years after their last album. One stop is Raleigh’s Time Warner Music Pavilion with Paramore.
