Restaurants

Oakwood Cafe Now Open for Breakfast

One of our favorite restaurants in Downtown Raleigh has just become that much more spicy in the AM. Not long after switching up the interior of the downtown restaurant, we have information that Oakwood Cafe is now serving breakfast in addition to its fabulous weekday lunch and fancier weekend dinner meals.

The word on the street is that breakfast consists of “primarily eggs, omelets, sausage (the patties are great), as well as a few Cuban breakfast items”. And it’s served everyday.

Maybe they were getting jealous of Mema’s?

No hours are listed yet on their website, but more info coming soon….

Hours are listed on the image above. Also, it looks like the renovation has now included a single table outside for lunch. A couple more would be nice but this is a step in the right direction.

Thanks for Kristine for the tip.

yes good breakfast.  just be aware that closing at 12 on the weekend doesn’t mean you will get sat at 11:50
