The Barack Obama campaign has released details on their grand opening party of the new downtown headquarters. The Raleigh headquarters will open its doors at 6:30pm on July 22nd with an evening potluck party. Sign up here: Raleigh Field HQ Office Opening! (Official CFC Event).

Since this is a potluck the campaign staff asks that supporters with their last name starting with A-H bring a hot dish to pass, those with their last name starting with I-Q bring a side dish, and those with their last name starting with R-Z to bring something to drink (no alcohol please.) All are encouraged to bring some utensils like plates, forks, cups, and napkins. North Carolina is in play this year, and maximizing turn out in Raleigh will go a long way towards shifting the entire state Democratic in the Fall.

With Obamas war of hatred against America in full swing, and escalating, there isn’t a whole lot of humor going around about his presidential dreams these days. Being Americas greatest enemy from the inside isn’t anything anyone can find a happy future in. And America is only beginning to pay the price for his life in Washington DC that is still only speculation at best.

This year, there are no good choices for Americans. Each candidate won’t do a thing about illegal immigration, other than suck up to any Hispanic. I’ve only ever voted Republican, but I can’t imagine voting for McCain. I don’t agree with what Bush Jr. as done. I think the war in Iraq is absolutely pointless. Afghanistan was justified from the beginning, but how long has it been? Get the troops out and back home where they can truly defend America by guarding our wide open borders. If thousands of Mexicans can cross daily, how many terrorists could cross if they haven’t already. Regretfully, neither candidate, Republican or Democrat, will do a thing about it. I understand most illegals come here and really bust their tail for next to no money. Thats pretty sick the way they are used, to help business owners make more for themselves. If they want to come, it just be done legally. There is also however a fair amount who come here for illegal purposes, drugs, and crime in general. Its fairly common to watch the news about someone being killed by a drunk driver who wasn’t suppose to be here in the first place.

Though, I think your comments were fairly fair and level headed in general, I have to ask:

Is it worse being killed by an immigrant drunk driver?

Dead is dead, your right. I used that as an example only because it seems to be on the news fairly regulary.

Looks like the RNC’s 21st century version of the talking-point phone bank is crawling the web to post hatred and ill will wherever they find mention of Obama…you’ve had your eight years and we now see that supply side economics is no better, different or effective than Soviet-style Communism (your long-time boogeyman). They are both economic systems that promise much, deliver little and serve only to enrich the elite few at the top. Sadly, the Soviets had this failure forced upon them. GOP supporters vote for this failure; you actively support it; you lie for it; you cheat for it; and you steal for it…forcing it upon those of us who know better. And you do all of this despite the fact that it is certainly not in your best interests. It is rather sad.
