Obama Hints at Running Mate in Raleigh

The capital city was once again under siege by a horde of chanting fanatics on Tuesday afternoon. No, it wasn’t a bunch of freshmen hooligans causing trouble before school starts. It was a mass of middle aged downtown’ers dressed mostly in business attire and screaming hysterically in support of Barack Obama. Obamania is easy to get caught up in, but calm down: if you didn’t get a picture of him today, you will see him again. By November we’ll all be sick of seeing and hearing about the election and we’ll be back to talking about Tom and Katie.

Although Obama did not say a word as he was walking to his hotel, he was still able to give a clue as to who would be his VP running mate. With a cradling motion of one arm, and a brief stiff arm disguised as a wave, Obama’s body language clearly said “Heisman”. Yes! That’s right the next VP will be a Heisman trophy winner, and although Tebow is an amazing player he’s not old enough to hold a glass of beer much less the position of vice president. My bet’s on Burt Reynolds.
