Old Gossip Returns

We told you before that we thought Hatem might be marrying Samantha Smith.  Well we were ‘premature’ you might say.  He hadn’t even proposed when we said that.  But now NR catches wind that they are indeed tying the knot.  What new super powers will each hold in this union?  When downtown’s most gregarious developer and the N&Os most visible journalist combine their powers- a veritable Raleigh super team will be created. One can only imagine a first son would be named Raleigh Downtown Hatem.

We also hear Hatem’s joint venture with the Neomonde crew will be called

Citi Siti. With the recent success of the Greek restaurant on Hillsborough Street, we imagine upscale Mediterranean will make a killing (like all of Hatem’s ventures) downtown.  Mediterranean food seems very inline with our nation’s growing awareness of eating healthy- sure beats the hell out of another plate of pasta.  We can’t wait Greg. Congrats on the pending wedding too!
