This PBR thing has gotten out of hand.
Hahaha.
It’s impossible to imagine an event less unique than this.
PBR
food trucks
premium denim
“bikers welcome”
Semi-city Trendriding 2.0
I had to share the pain and got this response:
“I would think it was a joke if this were April 1.”
it’s so inspiring to see raleigh’s artists selling out to the same corporate marketing stunt that PBR has shoveled out all over the US, and then this blog reporting the event as “uniquely raleigh.” i’m sure i’ve not seen a promo for any event that better represents raleigh’s identity crisis and passion for irrelevance than this one. durham wins again just for *not* doing this.
Yeah, good thing Durham has never done any type of corporate whoring. Like that one time the populace wasn’t herded into the logo of one of the most ubiquitous corporations of all time.
this was a fun event last year. don’t be a dick…go…you’ll have fun.
Honest question here, since I’m not a participant in this segment of Raleigh…..do these types of events have the same exact attendees every time? Based on what this show is about (and the apparent agreement among the commentors), it seems like the same group that would attend the Big Boss/Food Truck, go to Jackpot, and think the Hobo comic is funny. If so, how large is this group anyway?
I have a tough time envisioning the larger population going to this.
Same 50 people.
Bring back hobo erotica.
New Raleigh, where hipsters judge other hipsters for being hipsters.
i wish there was a way to ‘like’ M’s last post. good one!
