Pink Martini To Play NCMA

Doc Watson was the first performer added to the NCMA’s 2009 Summer Concert Series and now the second, Pink Martini, has been announced.

Filed just beside your better electro-lounge bands of the past 10 years should be Portland, Oregon’s Pink Martini. Although many times considered electro, Pink Martini is actually an orchestra made of up at least 10 members. They have released three albums and have toured worldwide. Raleigh will be only one stop on their 26-date tour in 2009 which includes two shows at The Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The NCMA Pavilion will have good company in that respect. 

Expect the June night under the stars to be fabulous.
