Respect Your Mother: Planet Earth Celebration in Downtown Raleigh

Burt’s Bees, along with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, is sponsoring a Planet Earth Celebration this Saturday in Downtown Raleigh, as part of Earth Day Raleigh 2008.  Festivities include:

- live music, including local bands such as the Rosebuds and Kickin’ Grass
- presentation by Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods
- 8th Annual Sustainable Design Competition
- Burt’s Bees mobile tour chance to meet Burt himself
- presentation by folks from Al Gore’s Climate Registry
- Green Bazaar with almost 50 local businesses and non-profit organizations
- puppet show
- trash march
