Poole’s Brunch is fabulous. The grits are as perfect as a grit can be, and the fresh squeezed OJ and the grilled biscuits and egg soufflé are magnificent. The menu always changes for brunch, as it does for dinner, but there is a guarantee that it will be quite tasty. Count on a diverse crowd. Saturday’s are filled by 11:15am (they open at 10:30) and all ages and types will be seated around the restaurant.
Now that Enoteca Vin has closed, there is a void in the Sunday Brunch market and Poole’s hopes to fill it. Currently, Poole’s only serves dinner Wednesday through Saturday and brunch on Saturday. But, starting on March 1st, Poole’s Downtown Diner will also serve brunch on Sundays. The downtown weekend continues to grow.

Downtown Raleigh Brunch Pooles Diner
This is very exciting! But there is no void of Sunday brunch places in Raleigh.
Irregardless has had a long running fabulous Sunday brunch. I have heard that Coquette’s Sunday brunch is also quite good.
Dear Poole’s,
Please bring back the Vin-style Heuvos Rancheros for Sunday brunch. Also, if you have any rights to the scone recipe, judging from the Vin posts, you would make many people very very happy if you also added them to the mix.
ALL i wanted this weekend was Vin’s brunch. There is a void. Thank you Pooles. Sunday brunch will be very welcome!
How much does the brunch at Poole’s generally cost?
Ashley is one of Raleigh’s best. Way to go.
f: I have seen huevos rancheros on the Saturday brunch menu at Poole’s in the past. The menu items change often, so it may not be there every time. I know it was not on the menu this past Saturday.
I only had brunch at Vin once - Easter of last year. It was delicious, but we honestly didn’t go back. Don’t really know why. We have gone to Saturday brunch at Poole’s quite often, though, and Ashley does a fantastic job.
