Powerhouse Plaza Raleigh
Last time we reported on the Powerhouse Plaza, you asked for more renderings, materiality, street level views, and clearer detail. Cline Design was listening, and they have responded to the citizens’ desires to know more about this much anticipated project, a ten plus story mixed-use building that will begin to solidify the urban fabric between downtown and Glenwood South.

It would be nice if DTR had a trolley system from DTR to Glenwood South and other points of interest downtown.

still trying to figure out exactly where this is going. Is this the Nrth side of W Jones, between West and Harrington Streets? Plans with steet names would be helpful (or at least a North arrow).
Anyway, this building looks pretty run-of-the-mill, but i guess it should add some more street level retail.
The street level parking garage is pretty unfortunate. We are wasting so much downtoan space with the at grade garages. not to mention street frontage when the garages are placed like this one. Sure would be nice if we had some transit so that the parking requirements could be lowered.
