The R-Line will celebrate one year of service to the downtown Raleigh area on Saturday, February 13th. An event is planned to take place on that date in front of the Hibernian Restaurant on Glenwood Avenue starting at 6pm. In addition to a live G105 broadcast, prizes will be given out amounting to $1500 in gift cards. Anyone wearing an R-Line
wristband will be eligible to receive discounts at local participating venues, though the event announcement does not provide further details as to which establishments are participating. Wristbands may be picked up at the Hibernian beginning at 6pm.

Of course, nothing says “R-Line celebration” like speed dating. The anniversary event will be paired with a speed dating event held on the bus, hosted by PreDating.com. Those interested in signing up for the event must pre-register and participants can enjoy drink and appetizer specials at the Hibernian during the festivities.

Sounds nice. Get some speed dating going on the sluttiest street in Raleigh on the weekends, and have sloppy sex on the R-Line. Sounds like a plan. Where do I sign up? Who is the guy who runs the Social Magazine? Chris London or whatever? I’m sure he’ll be down there. He’s got a very sweet Poison circa 1992 look going for him. Shit is on point!! Check out the December 09 copy for for cheesy ass pictures of him and some fitness model. Retarded!

The R-Line was not running today due to the snow.  Maybe they should put a plow on the bus.
