R. Stevie Moore is revered as "The Godfather of Home Recording".  The New York Times claims that he "owns a cult following of international rock snobs."  Recent relevant indie artists such as Ariel Pink and James Richardson of MGMT are a few of his followers.

R. Stevie Moore has self-released more than 400 albums in the span of over 35 years.  With the help of Tropical Ooze to flesh out his healthy discography, Moore has bounced back and is poised to have his day.  But with that much material, it is hard to figure out where to start.  Check out the videos below.

This is the first tour ever for this underground music legend.  The tour begins in the US and heads to Europe later this summer.  It will be documented by Jon Demiglio for a full-length film.
