Raleigh’s highly anticipated Convention Center is on track to open this fall, and when it does, it’s going to be a big event. Tomorrow the event to announce that event, is happening.
Mayor Charles Meeker, Wake County Board of Commissioners Chair Joe Bryan and other Raleigh leaders are set to unveil plans for the Raleigh Convention Center (RCC) Grand Opening Celebration at a special event to be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 8 a.m. in Fletcher Theater in the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
