Raleigh Named Best Large City for Business

NewGeography.com, a blog focusing on urban issues, big money politics, and the economy has named Raleigh the best large city for business in 2008. The ranking is based on several factors including recent growth trends, education and health services, and public utilities, as well the total number of non-farm jobs in the metro area.

NewGeography’s report cited the area’s diversified economy and ability to attract educated (presumably they mean college-educated) workers as two of the major factors in the ranking.
