Rockit! This Saturday at Bu•ku

Rockit! This Saturday at Bu•ku

As if you needed a reason to party on a Saturday night, the same guys (aka Tim Kiernan, Logan Sayles, and Miles Holst/ Yes!_Sputnik) that brought you the Hood Internet after party at AhPeele are throwing another soirée that you won’t want to miss. The night includes live video mixing accompanied by a video installation piece by Yes!_Sputnik, electronic beats pumped out by the East Coast portion of FTB Soundsystem [raleigh edition], Hidden Cat, and not to mention fabulous food and drinks by Bu•ku. Rumor has it they are even creating a special drink for the event out of absinthe and Redbull.

Rockit is a DJ driven dance party built on a foundation of high spirits and dirty electronic beats, where rhythms of all origins and revelers of all dispositions are united in the rapturous embrace of the unknown. Dedicated to experimentation in the name of the didactic character of the dance floor, we reject the disciplinary division of knowledge, experience and persons. Join us for a night of new sounds and sights, in the fertile commons we call our home.

Some people say it starts at 10, some say 11. Whenever, just be there.

Bu•ku is located at 110 East Davie St.
