Roly Poly was a very well established downtown Raleigh lunch location before it abruptly closed earlier in 2008 for various reasons. But, Roly Poly fans, have no fear, your wraps will be coming your way very soon and in a more spacious location. Although Roly Poly is a chain, it is a great place for a quick lunch and one of the few places over the past couple of years you guy eat outside on an urban sidewalk in downtown Raleigh.
It will move into the space previously occupied by the IMAX cafe at Marbles Kids Museum. Small renovations will occur and there will be a good amount of outdoor seating. If you ever went to the original Roly Poly, you know that more seating is key and this new location will definitely accommodate many more patrons. Now you’ll be able to have more than popcorn before riding the rapids.
Update - We have received word that Roly Poly will open early July in the Wachovia IMAX Theatre at Marbles Kids Museum.
