The Rosebuds popped into Raleigh Denim's warehouse space for a laid back acoustic version of "Leaves Do Fall" from the their 2005 album Birds Make Good Neighbors (although Merge states it's from Night of the Furies...whooops!). The performance is part of a series on Converse.com highlighting various bands from the XX Merge Fest back in June. Kelly Crisp gets down on a gold shiny accordian while Ivan Howard jams the acoustic guitar. Meanwhile, Victor Lytvinenko is the human metronome in the background, snapping his fingers. The old warehouse and sewing machines make a perfect setting for a very well directed and executed 4 or 5 minutes of film. Go here to watch the video. Now we wait patiently for the footage from Jackpot to emerge.
