Voter Opinions: Videos From Sarah Palin’s Rally

While covering the Sarah Palin rally at the North Carolina state fairgrounds in Raleigh on Saturday, November 1st, I gathered voter opinions from those in attendance. Given the tight race in North Carolina, I asked what people thought of the political climate in the state. I also asked people what they had riding on the outcome of this presidential election.

Below are additional video interviews by LOGGERHEAD STUDIOS. The journalist asks people why they are voting for McCain.

This final clip includes an interview with the NObama vendor.

Three of us went from work and got there around 5:30pm. There were thousands of people in line and there was no way we were getting in that building. Sarah Palin attracted a huge and very enthusiastic crowd. People stood outside of the building and listened to her speech, even though there was no chance of getting in the building. As for the folks inside the building, they with stood stifling heat to get a chance to listen to her. The news media should have shown arial photos of the lines going back and forth around Dorton arena and back to the Jim Graham building. It was quite a shock to see.

We were 50 minutes early but had no chance of getting in.  I dont know how many the Expo center holds but it looked like a ton of people had to watch outside.
