Save the Dates: New Raleigh Hopscotch Day Parties
You’ve heard a lot about the awesome and massive Hopscotch Music Festival lineup which runs three days in September (9th-11th) and now you’ll start hearing a bit about day parties (a few have already been announced and more are in the works) being planned to occupy those few hours after lunch and before 5pm each day where there is a big gap between sleeping and listening to music.
New Raleigh will be co-hosting two day parties, one Friday afternoon at Tir Na Nog and one Saturday at Slim’s. Both of these shows will showcase a handful of local Triangle bands as well as a few other surprises. We’ll get you up to speed on the details soon but until then, mark off the afternoons because you won’t want to miss both of these shows (which will be totally free).

Good on ya for stepping up during the day, NR! For those of us who can’t stay out all night, it will be nice to get a chance during the day. One request for Slim’s/TNN - _reasonable_ volume please? I promise I’ll buy beer, then go home early so I don’t spoil everyone else’s fun.
