A Taste of Retail & Winterfest on Saturday

Shop downtown this weekend at the “A Taste of Retail” a shopping event where downtown retail shops will offer discounts on their merchandise along with samples of local restaurant fare. Below we list off all the participating shops - with the discounts, it seems like a great day to shop downtown. More info on the Downtown Raleigh Alliance Website

Following the shopping, at 4pm Winterfest kicks off. Starting with a craft market, community choirs and dancing entertainment, family friendly music acts and a second tree lighting, after the first tonight. The snow themed event is your only opportunity to go ice skating in downtown Raleigh. If you cant make it for the kickoff- ice skating will be available through January every afternoon excluding Mondays. See the site for more info.
