Market price is kind of unfortunate to have on the menu, to say the least. I’d at least give people an appropriate range of where market price might fall.

Still looking forward to trying it nonetheless!

what kind of yuppie bullshit is this? these prices are absolutely ridiculous for the sizes. I am not cheap by any means but I would never pay these prices. maybe I can see through this bullshit because I’m a barista but I feel like most people should be offended at this attempt at business. just because this is some trendy place downtown for rich douchebags that means it’s acceptable? ugh. I don’t care how gourmet the ingredients are there is no excuse for the prices. every coffee shop I’ve worked in has used quality ingredients and we’ve never charged this much. what a joke.

Rich, stick around…those of us within walking distance are excited about a new coffee and dessert option!  Plus, the street-side window is a great idea…reminds me of the cuban coffee stands in Miami!

Wow, this blog is ridiculous. Why was my comment deleted? Because it disagreed with the way this business works? I wasn’t joking or trying to rile anyone up. I have an opinion as well. I’m a little disheartened to find Shotbox was seasonal, having read a recent glowing review and looking forward to trying its dessert offerings when I returned from Los Angeles (were prices are the same or even higher and people have to pay far more for gas, rent, and everything in general which does not make the menu pricing preposterous, even for Raleigh).  Donata Guerra, Scribd.com/DLGuerra
