SPARKcon Friday on WUNC’s The State of Things

In case you missed it, SPARKcon is this weekend. Frank Stasio of WUNC’s The State of Things will speak to three of the organizers on today’s broadcast at noon on 91.5 FM. Turn on, tune in, or drop out….except without the drugs and more of the culture.

A four-day conference that aims to connect people from different creative disciplines is underway in Raleigh. SPARKcon brings together people from various scenes around the Triangle, including film, food, fashion, poetry, dance, music and gaming. Host Frank Stasio speaks with three of the organizers, Aly Khalifa, Megan Wood and Allison Beale, about what kinds of ideas the event generates and what creativity means for our region’s identity.
