Spy vs. Spy : Secret Agent Dance Party at Jibarra on Friday

If you know Miles Holst, you know enough to go ahead and sign up to go to this event. If you don’t, Miles is a tour de force in downtown audio and video culture that loves to put on a good party. 2009 was a big year for Miles. He was given one of the Indies Arts Awards, his video room at the SPARKcon Experimental Video Lounge was a bit of a love fest and he has continued to pack the dance floor at Jackpot!

MIles, who also goes by Yes! Sputnik, will start off the new year with another dance party, this time at Jibarra in the Depot Building in Downtown Raleigh. The party is called “Spy vs. Spy : Secret Agent Dance Party” and goes down this Friday, January 15th from 10pm-2am. Miles and the owners are starting a new Third Friday initiative at the restaurant. As typical of events hosted by Miles, there’s a themed dress code. So put on your 007 gear and get your ass on the dance floor.

Just FYI: any event that combines Miles Holst and Jibarra is pretty sure to be a fantastic evening.
