This Thursday, March 12th, head downtown to Slim’s and get a good whiff of NYC’s underbelly. The Stalkers, tried and true Brooklyn-based rockers, bring their raucous act to Raleigh as part of their punk-pop tour de force sweeping the nation over the next month. Love City from Philadelphia, known for their gritty organ-grinding psychedelic punk riffs, will be joining them on tour as both bands head to Austin’s SxSW extravaganza. Hometown Raleigh DJ Midnite Cowboy will fill in the gaps throughout the night, mixing Garage, Freakbeat, Glam, and Punk. Is it just me or does this show reek of the glory days of King’s? Admission is only $3, so you should have plenty of dough left over to get slobbering drunk and pass out in the gutter. I know its a Thursday night, but come on, how often does Raleigh rock this hard?
Is this show non-smoking? Just kidding!
hopefully it’ll rock hard enough to provide some music to the people whispering on the patio at boylan bridge
