Stomp Brings the Bang to Raleigh

If you’ve never seen Stomp live on stage, it’s worth a trip. I have seen it a couple of times in different cities in the US and UK and all have been very entertaining. The show, which has been running for 18 years, combines choreographed musical numbers performed with everything including the kitchen sink and a small amount of comedy, into aural and visual overload.

Sunday is the last day of the show at The Progress Energy Center but there are five performances before then. Tickets range from $25-50.

I went to the show last night and had a good time. My girl and I really liked it.

I wish TicketMaster didn’t get you with those fees, though. Added around $15 to the total…

I know it’s a hassle, but I always go to the box office to buy tickets a few days before the show. It’s a little out of my way, but it saves me around $12 in service fees each time.
