Teen-Aged Premiers at the Rialto

North Carolina filmmakers present an honest depiction of the high-school experience in a new film called Teen-Aged.Created by a father and son team Joseph and Lane Middelton of Raleigh, Teen-Aged tries to depict the cliques, partying and social pressures of high school. Lane is both the writer and an actor in the movie.  The Rialto is hosting two screenings of the film and for local film fans, it should be a great chance to see some new homegrown material.

i think it’s quite impressive that a 17 year old wrote a screenplay and managed to bring the project to completion, in partnership with his dad. rather than dwelling on this not being an original concept (most movie premises aren’t totally original anyway), let’s support them and congratulate them on pulling this off.
