The First Friday Agenda: March 2008

A visual guide this month while we work on some new exhibition tools:

Also a special treat at Rebus Works, the work is Tiffany O’Brien’s “Black Valentine”, but tonight they also host Ivan Howard (of the Rosebuds) and Eddie Taylor (of the Loners) to serenade the First Friday crowd- around 8 pm.

If you are a gallery or Artist in Raleigh, please email with your email address. New Raleigh will be announcing some new promotion venues for Raleigh Artists in March.

love the tool. it’d be wonderful & oh so helpful to have something like this each month. and i think the morning of first friday is perfect timing - folks usually know they are going or not already, they just don’t know where. the tool would help them decide! yay!

Nice sampling of work. I have to say though, that you should have included the Regional Emerging Artist 2000- 2005 Retrospective show at Artspace, featuring work by 10 current or former Raleigh artists.

And don’t forget to stop by Visual Art Exchange in City Market to see their annual Student Show.  And to see some very excited and surprisingly talented elementary, middle and high school artists.  http://www.visualartexchange.org/

Including, I am proud to say, my daughter!

Getting them excited about art young!

Nicole, this is actually just a quick and dirty use of our slideshow tool.  A real exhibition promotion tool is coming in the next few weeks-

LMB & VaNC, I added both of those, I was pressed for time this month and only put up exhibitions that were submitted.  Thanks!
