With art happenings all over town it is sure to be a big, visual night on the town.

This is the first First Friday that CAM joins in on the action- with free admission from 6:30-9:00. Additionally new shows at Flanders, Rebus, ArtSpace, The Mahler, Lump and Visual Art Exchange. VAE will host the Common Seam Collective- read our post here.

Bike First Friday will be in full effect meeting at the Bell Tower at 7pm. Riders are privy to special CAM goodies if they arrive with the BFF crew.

PBaRT at Designbox

The 2nd annual “PBaRt” show at Designbox features a PBR-inspired exhibit packed with custom local artist work! Our “back yard” (parking lot) will turn into a beer garden for the night and host local bands, fire dancing, acrobats, a hoop jam, food trucks and, of course, Pabst Blue Ribbon!

Busy Bee Cafe: Alisha Gard Show

Alisha Gard is from Raleigh, NC by way of Placerville, California. She enjoys working with film cameras using both 35mm and 120film. Her work most often features the places she loves—as close as Carrboro, NC, which she calls home, and as distant as Berlin, London, and the island of Inishmore off the coast of Ireland. The photographs on display were taken using a Canon EOS Rebel G and a Holga 120N.

First Friday is Friday May 6. Alisha's work will be on display all month.

Brew Masters Bar & Grill Cask Night

Mark Fesche, the acclaimed brewer for Huske Hardware Brewing Co in Fayettville, is bringing a special cask of his farmhouse ale to Brewmasters this Friday May 6th.

Huske Hardware Farmhouse Ale: A rich, malty golden-orange ale brewed with the finest French and Belgian malts and finished with a kiss of dry- hopped floral Strisselspalt.

We’ll tap the cask at 6pm and the brewer will be on hand to talk about the beer, the brewery, and, well anything else you’d like to throw at him. We will also have Huske Hardwares other beers, which we carry all the time, on special for 3 bucks a pint.

We will also be displaying some of local guitar maker Clay Conner’s beautiful instruments. Conner's Guitars are stunning works of art. He too will be available and ready for questions or a discussion about his craft and his work.
