The First Friday Agenda November 2008

This month’s First Friday has a nice variety of offerings.  From Pro/Con’s poignant offering at Rebus works (with Scott Goner performing), to Art Space’s silent auction preview, there is plenty to see.  Also exciting is VAE’s Found Object/ Graffiti Show, and Lump’s exhibition of Canadian artist Jason de Haan. Design Box hosts a show of young artists inspired by Bob Rankin. And Flanders 311 has a gorgeous show of Lori Esposito’s paintings (shown above). Finally, Gallery Shibui in Cameron Village will be showing Adam Peele Prints.

This work by Lori Espositio is gorgeous! Would love to see it in real life rather than on the net, but hey, here I sit in Japan.
