Slim's Downtown is beginning a new series of residencies of bands that will begin in the first week of May with The Love Language. The band will play shows on May 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. Ticket and more information will be announced soon. Considering the size and viewing capacity of Slim's, we expect every night to have few tickets left but are sure that every night will be a show worth seeing.

All four nights will cost you $32 or each night individually for $10.

Opening bands for each night:

5/3 w/ Left Outlet
5/4 w/ Whatever Brains
5/5 w/ Shit Horse
5/6 w/ Lonnie Walker

Get tickets here.

Oh, how I wish this was at King’s.  Slims is fine but too small and without the great sound and sightlines.

They’re smart for hosting at Slims. Makes the ticket more desirable and the hype around the smaller venue that much more attractive. Slim’s will undoubtedly sell out every night for this show. Kings may not fill up for a Wednesday show.. Scarcity leads to increased interest.

Tyler, we don’t have plans for another May residency, but are looking to set up a few more this year with bands who want to give their fans a small show atmosphere.
