The latest album by The Rosebuds, Loud Planes Fly Low, remains on constant rotation around here. The gorgeous album (and beautiful Shaun Richards cover) has firmly implanted itself in our Summer consciousness with its smooth, beach-ready, tunes. The band has been traveling the country and recently joined friends Bon Iver for the final leg of this tour. The two bands will stop into Raleigh on Friday at the Downtown Amphitheater. Can someone give me a list of good local bands that have albums out? I’m new to the area, so it’s kind of overwhelming sorting through all of the ones I hear about, to try them out.
