“The Snap” is a new, original-photography feature for New Raleigh.  Regularly, we’ll post a shot from around town with the goal of featuring unique images from our city.  It’s half art, half journalism.  Enjoy.

A patron at Raleigh’s Global Village on Hillsborough St. reads on a winter afternoon.

hmmm… anybody paying attention to privacy rights? technically photographing someone in a “public place” is OK without permission. However a private business (like Global Village) is not really a public place. Just a suggestion to help you avoid a future pain in the arse.

I’d love to submit some images for this if you’d like?

Good coffee is getting easier and easier to find. Great space to enjoy your drink remains rare. Global fills the need. Can’t define. Just the facts, Ma’am.
