I remember the store.  I think it was located in the 100 block on Favetteville Street close to the Ambassodor Theater.  The store closed and moved to Cameron Village in the late 60"s I think.  It is now the location of Fresh Market grocery store.  thanks Ladye Jane.

Ladye Jane, for history sake, you need to go down to Stool Pigeons and take some pictures of the empty bar.

So this is the interior of a store that closed in the 60’s?  Has it sat unused and unchanged for all this time???

Yep, this is the interior of the old department store. It’s next door to the Briggs building on the 200 block of Fayetteville.
