Not quite as pretty as the greenway bridge over 449 at Meredith College and Wade Ave?

This bridge just screams “mugger in the shadows”.

It’s better than the pedestrian bridge over the Durham Freeway that has been closed since 1995.  At least the 540 bridge will allow passerby to watch you being murdered.

Is this the bridge that has become a sort of “free expression” fence?  There is a bridge over 540 where prople use cups or cans pushed into the fence to spell out messages of love, support and celebration.  I think it’s cute and look forward to it on my long drive to and from work.

any mugger hanging out at a pedestrian bridge in Raleigh-Cary is going to starve to death before he kills a victim.

Is no one going to comment on the actual picture.  I think it is great.  Beautiful work, Ben.
