The Studio @ Hargett Brings Yoga Downtown

Stretchin’ It Out Downtown

Downtown Raleigh will be breathing a little easier come late July with the opening of a new full-service Yoga and Pilates studio. The Studio @ Hargett, which will be located on the third floor above Adam Cave Fine Art in the Heilig Levine building, will be maintaining the historic aspects of the space, while incorporating “lots of natural elements...like tons of trees and plants, stones, and a fountain. It will feel like a spa, yet there will be an great energy in there.” The space also has a wonderful creative element to it, so the Studio will be available for “creative services”, such as photo shoots, when unoccupied with classes.

The yoga program will vary in practice, and there will be both mat and equipment Pilates classes. With morning, afternoon, and evening schedules, it will be a great way for downtown workers to incorporate more movement into their daily routines. The grand opening is slated for the end of July, with scheduled classes beginning the first week of August.

I’ll go, I’ve been waiting for a yoga studio close enough to bike too.  The one I like moved to Strickland/Six Forks.
