U2 Playing Durham’s Wallace Wade Stadium?

U2 has already played the IMAX theatre in Raleigh….well not really, but it was a damn fine film. Could U2 be set to play Wallace Wade Stadium live in Durham this summer? This would be a huge show for The Bull City. The folks over at MyNC have the details of the rumor.

A very early rumor indicates that the “the best band in the world” will make a long overdue stop in the Triangle this summer. While no official dates have been announced, it looks like U2 will perform at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham during its up-coming No Line on the Horizon world tour.

As already noted, this is a very early rumor and could not be confirmed or denied.
