Teen wolf anyone?

Not so much art, as pretty dangerous and silly.

car surfing! we did that back in college, but we didnt bother attaching ourselves to the car. just open the door all the way, put one arm on top of the door, one hand on the handlegrip inside the door on the roof, and drag your feet. true car surfing!

That’s Reedy Creek Rd. off Edwards Mill.  Great curvy road that was probably more fun to surf than this video shows.

For the life of me I’ll never know why they decided to brick the middle of that road as much as they did. It seems pointless.

i like his posts + photos, but this is boring.

though i bet it was a lot of fun for him.

    Over by Schenck Forest eh?

Would have been cooler down Fayetteville Street.

This is nothing. While it looks fun, my friends at the beach would sneak out the back seat window and crawl on the roof, slide down the windsheild and raise up on the hood in a surfing pose.

The whole time this was happening the car was going 50 or faster and the hood surfer was drunk and did not have a rope.

Often out of spite, the drunk driver driving us home would speed up to seventy or faster going down the beach highway….

Usually at that point the hood surfer would suction themselves to the outside of the car as they made their way to the back seat window which they came out of….

Always, when the car parked at our next destination, the drunk driver would fight the hood surfer, hug and make up then start drinking real hard together….  That is the cycle of life…

I’d say jail is in this guys future if you keep
writing about him and smearing his face
all over the web. It’s not hard to figure out who it is! And It kind of makes New Raleigh
an accessory to vandalism for not reporting criminal activity if RPD put 2 and 2 together.
Love his work but you guys need to be smarter about these kinds of things when writing.
    Just sayin…..

    uhhh….i don’t get it

  • smitty06/10 03:18 PM

Do a whois on his domain then google the street address for a laugh.

  • Chris06/10 06:31 PM

Smitty, good catch!  That’s funny as hell…

  • genius06/10 08:40 PM

i am from the same school as imagine here. we did way more fun and super stupid stuff without taping it, or tying ourselves to the car, or being sober, or anything wise for that matter. still, our antics seemed a little cooler.

    Andd… this is news how?

  • Vince06/11 09:29 AM

This was on ABC 11 News last night…the police have his name and everything….

  • smitty06/11 11:29 AM

Poor kid, watch your bunghole.  http://nopromiseofsafety.com/2009/06/11/stormtroopers/

  • revolu06/11 11:47 AM

    dang.  not cool.

  • Fred06/11 09:51 PM

Whooptefrikkin do. I really enjoyed the barrel monster and the angry man painted on the hopper near the Boylan Bridge. But this car surfing video was just stupid. Sorry dude. Maybe you can cut a creative deal with the prosecutor to let you do art installations as community service.

  • DPK06/12 10:21 PM

Your art may be cool, but you’re an idiot if you think that publicizing yourself like this won’t get the attention of law enforcement.  No sympathy sorry.

  • JeffS06/12 10:29 PM

I say you show up in court with a suit made of traffic barrels. Without the company name of course.

  • Sallie06/16 12:24 PM

I’m sorry - I’m all for art and such, but this guy is such a cocky, entitled, douchey tool. Ugh.

  • Ken Metzger06/16 01:34 PM

I am not meaning to elevate the artist to such high lofts, but I am pretty sure people said the same thing about Picasso (maybe not douchey).  One does not have to like the artist to like the art.
