It is August 3rd, and that means the first Mystery Build contest, "Interpret A Song" is over. Judging and voting are going on right now and you can be a part of it. Once the winners have been decided, Mystery Build will host the award ceremony at Kings during Sparkcon.
To vote, you need to sign up on MysteryBuild.net. The network is free to join and welcomes all to participate. There is a public voting tab that has either one selected image or video of each submission. You can only vote once a day and contestants can not vote for their own submission. Let your voice be heard! The People's Choice winner gets $300! Grand Prize stands at $1000!
Participants submitted lots of photos and video. Some of the best ones you will find under the photo and video tabs. All of the entries are pretty cool, like John Hitselburger's (of The Royal Nights) "Dio-rama", local artist Pete Sack's entry based on a popular Beatles tune and Lauri Arntsen's homage to a Lucinda Williams classic. Watch the video of that entry below:

But the folks at Mystery Build are now allowed to let the public view all the contents that the contestants were welcomed with upon opening their Mystery Build kits. You can check that out here: http://mysterybuild.com/wordpress/
Also, don't forget about Mystery Build's foray into television - Mystery Build Presents: The Milt Bobbleworthy Show. It airs Saturday nights at 2AM on CW22. Getting home from the bar? Throwing a late night? It is a nice visual treat for your after party. Check out the trailer for the Milt Bobbleworthy Show here:
