WKNC Among Top 10 Finalists for MTVU Woodie Award
WKNC has made it to the top 10 list of best college radio stations in the country (via MTVU's College Radio Woodie awards) as voted on by fans over the past few weeks.
North Carolina has another station, WASU at App State in Boone as a finalist while the rest of the top 10 are spread out throughout the country. We aren't quite sure about the last round of voting but will let you know when we do.

Even after creating an MTV account I couldn’t manage to vote on the linked page above. Elsewhere on the MTV site (the “About” section for the Woodies) they refer you to RateMyProfessor.com to actually cast votes, and I had success over there. http://radiowoodie.ratemyprofessors.com/
Seemed odd at first, but MTVu acquired RateMyProf a while back.
