
March is Women’s History Month, so this Wednesday night, the Raleigh City Museum is holding a reception for the opening of its latest exhibit which is on important women throughout Raleigh’s history. From social activists and civil rights leaders to doctors and crusaders for the mentally ill, Raleigh has been home to many women who have made an enormous impact on not only our city, but on the world. The exhibit, which will be on display until May 1st, features 14 individuals and organizations who have all contributed to the advancement of women, and the betterment of society.
