Works of Heart Auction Saturday

A collection Artists from the Triangle (including New Raleigh’s own Tracy Spencer) will sell their work to benefit AIDS.  The feature artist is Stephen White but there are over a hundred more to choose from!

The 17th annual Works of Heart
The Triangle’s Art Auction Against AIDS

Now in its 17th year, Works of Heart – The Triangle’s Art Auction Against AIDS is the region’s premiere charity auction. Since its inception in 1991, nearly 2500 pieces of artwork have passed through Works of Heart generating almost $600,000 in sales.

With the additional support of our financial partners, 100% of the proceeds from your contribution provide valuable funding to The Alliance of AIDS Services – Carolina (AAS-C) and its programs for direct care, housing, education, prevention and faith ministries. With Raleigh’s Progress Energy Center for The Performing Arts (formerly the BTI Center for the Performing Arts) as its home venue, Works of Heart is unmatched in size, artist and community involvement, and sheer “sparkle!”

Your support and participation is vitally important to the success of Works of Heart and AAS-C itself. Today, the three counties served by AAS-C (Wake, Durham, and Orange), report 3500 individuals and their families living with HIV/AIDS.  Thirty-Five Hundred neighbors, co-workers, friends, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers.  AAS-C’s client roster includes over 1200 of these people.

Please join us in 2007 as we remember those lost, those living, and those we must protect
