City has New Rain Barrels For Sale

The city has a nice selection of rain barrels of various prices.  Recently they added some new options including a very affordable $42 model.

The City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services Department has now a new rain barrel option available for sale to residents at a discounted price.  Raleigh owned company Rain Water Solutions is offering its 65 gallon rain barrel normally selling for $149, for $87 plus tax ($92.87).  The rain barrel is manufactured from 100% recycled plastic resin in Smithfield, NC. The Red Cross Needs Your Help



The Triangle Area American Red Cross has just issued an urgent call for the donation of all blood types, as levels have dropped crucially low. “While temperatures and fuel prices rise this summer,the American Red Cross reports that the blood inventory levels have fallen so low it is unable to sufficiently meet the demand of local hospitals.”
