The Studio @ Hargett Brings Yoga Downtown

Stretchin’ It Out Downtown Downtown Raleigh will be breathing a little easier come late July with the opening of a new full-service Yoga and Pilates studio. The Studio @ Hargett, which will be located on the third floor above Adam Cave Fine Art in the Heilig Levine building, will be maintaining the historic aspects of the space, while incorporating “lots of natural elements…like tons of trees and plants, stones, and a fountain.”

Run for the Oaks and St. Patrick’s Day Festivities

On Saturday, March 15, the City of Raleigh, Parks and Recreation Department will hold its 26th annual Run for the Oaks. All proceeds go towards planting trees in Raleigh, the City of Oaks.  This race drew a record field of 824 entries in the 5K in 2007.  This year’s event features a new start time and new race route. The run begins at 8:30 a.m. at City Market in downtown Raleigh.
